SaveMore.com

The Better Business Bureau sent out a warning for consumers about SaveMore.com, reported Brent Hunsaker of ABC4-TV, Salt Lake City, Utah. SaveMore.com is a daily deal site based in Addison, TX.

“Nearly 1500 complaints are filed with the BBB on SaveMore.com about non-delivery of gift cards, problems with products and difficulties getting in touch with the business,” said BBB serving Dallas and Northeast Texas.

These complaints resulted in a "F" rating, but the website is still running.

“There's just certain companies obviously that you can’t trust,” said a Utah consumer about SaveMore.com. She paid $30 for a $50 gift card at a sporting goods store, but never received the card and couldn’t get in touch with SaveMore.com about the problem.

The consumer said that next time she'll do more investigating before buying discounted gift cards online. “That's definitely something I will be doing in the future,” she said.

The consumer paid with a credit card and got reimbursed by her bank. “That's one tip the Better Business Bureau gave ABC 4 News to stop from getting ripped off,” said Brent Hunsaker.
