In Dallas and Northeast Texas

Insurance adjusters say that damage from Wednesday’s hailstorm could top $500 million, reports CBS11-TV, Ch. 11, in Dallas – Fort Worth. Large hail severely damaged homes and businesses in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas on June 13, 2012.
For those with damage, Better Business Bureau spokeswoman Jeannette Kopko said to be cautious of contractors who don’t provide a permanent address. Look out for scare tactics and high pressure and ask the company if they offer a guarantee.
“What they might do is do shoddy work and charge you more than normal, and then they may not be there when you try to get the warranty on it,” Kopko said.
